Worked client side on an IBM implementation of Workday Financials, assisting in data conversion, validation, reporting requirements, user testing and training, integrations to upstream and downstream systems, and post go live support. Client had global operations transitioning from multiple ERP systems into Workday and leveraged Workday’s native functionality for A/P, cash, business assets, intercompany and projects.
Worked on behalf of the client on a Deloitte implementation of Workday HR & Financials, leading financial data conversion from pre-existing ERP systems into one global instance of Workday. A large merger extended this project into three massive implementation phases and added a transition of the company's finance function to Accenture Business Process Outsourcing.
Financial data converted included subledger AP/AR invoices, cash, fixed assets, and GL at either a summarized or transactional level of detail, data mapping, loading, and validation to historically reported results.
Beyond data conversion, advised on FDM design and implications, assisted on Workday integration to budgeting/reporting package including validating results in a parallel test, and provided change management assistance and employee training on Workday best practices.
Provided post go-live support with experience in integrations, intercompany, validation rules, business processes, and security.
Project Scope: Upgrade BPC 7.5M to 10, including new detailed management reporting functionality, strategic planning capabilities and tax integration with OneSource. Designed and implemented separate strategic planning environment.
